Back from the SaloneSatellite Milan with a lot of business cards in my pocket and a real order from manufactum/magazin over a number of 100 pieces of the lamp Left or Right I decided not to wait for a producer but to try my first self production and distribution.
I started with a quantity of 250 pieces in 3 colors, charged my car and started a succesfull tour through Germany with a list of the trading partners of Ingo Maurer.
As Left or Right has sold pretty good in Germany and Europe I decided to go for a bigger version as well: in 2007 the floor lamp Left or Right BIG went into series.
5 years later and after a lot of experiences in the field of production and distribution with all it´s problems and achievements and so many nice contacts I decided to part thereof and to give it in the hands of Konstantin Slawinski who distributes it to this day.
