Re-design of the art-shop KunstHalle Deutsche Bank Berlin
To celebrate 25 years since the signing of the friendship agreement between Paris and Berlin, that tireless traveller Serge Bensimon decided to set down his suitcase in the German capital. He returns with a selection of objects and furniture reflecting his various meetings there and offering a broad overview of creativity.
Les Brunis is a phone bank realised for pulpo. It´s a simple re-design of the chair „Le Bruno“ by extending the underframe and adding a shelf.
The inspiration for the design of the sideboard Boxer comes from corrugated iron roofs. The wells are deviding the surface in segments ideal for storing small items. The wooden storage boxes are glazed in light and dark gray contrasting the body be it white or black.
Dado is cubic and is suspended from a corner of the cube providing different views.

Redesign: Traditional Korean Paper
DMY Berlin, cooperational partner of the Seoul Design Festival, chose 15 designers and artists to participate in the Redesign project of Designers LAB, Korea. The project idea is to create new objects and concepts made out of a traditional material.
This year, from October to December, DMY Berlin presents the work of 18 Berlin-based creators and design collectives at four different design fairs and festivals in Japan, Korea and Taiwan.
