Since 1991, the Design Center Baden-Württemberg has awarded the International Design Prize Baden-Württemberg annually. As a non-profit initiative, it provides even the smallest companies with the opportunity to showcase their product innovations on an international stage.

I am honored to have been selected as a jury member alongside esteemed colleagues Matthias Bohner, Claudia S. Friedrich, Linda Ruth Schmidt, Judith Tänzer and Mario Zeppetzauer.

A heartfelt thank you to the Design Center in Stuttgart for two surprising and truly engaging days!

Interior Design for JUNO

Renovating the office space of the design and branding agency JUNO in Hamburg.

Space-forming, large-scale shelving and storage elements divide and define the 400 square meter office space into smaller work areas.

Thick, sound-absorbing blue curtains that reach up to the ceiling create a calm and cozy atmosphere.

The kitchen is reduced and functional.

In collaboration with Karen Olze and Regina Seitz from BfdW, we conceived, developed, and produced the interactive exhibition „Will leben – Willkommen“, which explores themes of escape and migration. The exhibition features seven interactive stations, each showcasing various causes and reasons why individuals may leave their country, whether voluntarily or involuntarily.

Designed to be mobile, the exhibition is housed in a trolley, making it accessible for schools and community settings. It provides an engaging and educational experience for both adolescents and adults, facilitating a deeper understanding of these complex issues in a playful and enlightening manner.

The stand-up table 157 for freistil. Standing-coffee or sitting-coffee, workplace or chill-assistant – the table can be all this and much more for its owners. Word-for-word in the twist of the hand the table can be lifted from a serious couch table to a relaxed workplace. The steel table support carries a two-piece plate, which larger surface is connected to the frame by a swivel joint. If one takes the larger plate and turns it over, the table turns over the bent runners from the horizontal to the vertical – and back again.

Left or Right BIG / Flodd Boat Black

Flodd Boat Black is a houseboat floating in the Rummelsburger Bucht in Berlin. And as the name implies, black is the star. And Left or Right BIG puts it in a good light.

Kitchen Berlin

In the renovated old salt warehouse, the Salzkontor on Berlin’s Kopenhagenerstraße 31c, a new extension merges seamlessly with the historical building, creating seven modern residential floors. At the intersection of old and new, brick and exposed concrete, the kitchen has been thoughtfully integrated.

The kitchen features a dark gray, varnished plywood cube that includes a bathroom and storage chamber, blending into the high cabinets housing the fridge, oven, and dishwasher. This cube transitions into a sleek, white, free-floating bolt. The cabinetry, framed by a black ledge made of durable Westag&Getalit board material, combines functionality with a delicate, graphic appearance.

This project was designed and realized in collaboration with Markus Lassan.

Trio Big at Berliner Bank

The regional commitment of the Berliner Bank as well as a cooperation with local companies and interest groups is visualized in the lounge area. The regionality is also shown in the selection of the furniture: each store receives furniture designed from young Berlin designers such as Läufer&Keichel, Hertel&Klarhöfer, Julian Appelius and Jakop Timpe.
