In co-operation with JUNO we developed the concept for the KINNASAND booth showing the new FACES collection at Biennale Interieur in Kortrijk 2014.
„The fair stand as a laboratory where I can see and feel creation happen while I am there.“
„I am inspired by a world of creation, discovery, fabrics and want to interact with it.“
Playful use of light, movement and perspective in an architectural space, which can be altered during the fair. Use of the new kinnasand shop display arranged as an installation. Use of reflective surfaces to stress the idea of windows, faces, space(s), the outside and multiplicity.
Back walls are mirrored and equipped with wooden rods, mounted in different lengths and hights, displaying the textiles and carpets. Shop displays are presented as an installation on the wall and can be filled partially with samples. Carpets and curtains are hanging in the same way and can also be presented as an ensemble. A ladder is leaning against the wall as a strong image of the lab.
