Tommy Hilfiger @ Bread&Butter Berlin
Conception, elaboration and production of the interior design for the Tommy Hilfiger booth at Bread&Butter Berlin 2010 in co-operation with Nowadays.
Sleek but not too clean, cozy & comfortable, interior design with colors of campaign thus like grey, white, black, silver and the key color blue.
The whole backyard area has the theme of an artist production space. Shades of grey, black and white. White wooden benches, colors grey and blue. Sleek but loungy and comfortable. At the back wall of the backyard is the T-shirt customizing station where the visitors have the opportunity to become action painters themselves.Paint pots and brushes, single-use overalls. T-shirts provided with hidden typo, detached after dripping. Dripped t-shirts are hanged on hangers and clothlines for drying and decoration. The T-shirt customizing action will cause the back wall of the yard to be covered with paint. This fact will be utilized for an additional deco for the aftershow party: Behind the paint splashes is a “secret” layer on adhesive film, which can be removed to reveal the Tommy Hilfiger logo. The Umbrella Tree is growing out of the Daybench Beach.
Clear image of a white cube, like a gallery space. This environment is the clean and elegant background for the iPad-station and the screens and pictures showing the latest campaign. The iPad-station takes place in the center of the gallery. The shape of the table follows the Hilfiger logo. Paying homage to the famous St. Petersburg hermitage the back wall of the gallery is covered with a huge number of framed pictures of the Hilfiger collection.
The Barcelona Daybed transformed into a huge seating oasis is the center of the lounge area. Steel frames chaotically wrapped with belts are semi-transparent screens which create a private feeling for the lounge areas.
The VIP area on the second level marks the highest point of the whole container city. All white, a high bank, Barcelona Chairs, a coffee table, a carpet, a mini-bar, a lamp and a little umbrella tree.
